ahhhhh...
As I write this my legs are luxuriating in the pleasures of Icy Hot. I went for a run yesterday and may have overdone it a weeeeee bit. Oh well, being able to walk is overrated.
Well, the secret knitting is no longer secret! I gave my sister-in-law her Ene's Scarf on Sunday and she loved it. Here is a pic of me modeling the final product.
Of course, my dear husband was helping take the picture and wasn't happy being behind the camera...
(Edit) Forgot the specs on this one!
Pattern: Ene's Scarf from Scarf Style
Started: September 29, 2005
Finished: October 26, 2005
Yarn: Blackberry Ridge Lace Weight Silk Blend in Willow
Needles: Size 6 circs
Size: one size fits all
Trellis is coming along slowly but surely. I'll have a progress pic in the next few days.
I'm getting my wish list together for Christmas and it has a TON of knitting books on it. One I really want is Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles by Cat Bordhi. From what I read on other's blogs, socks on two circs is the way to go. Since I'm not a huge fan of using dpns, I thought if I could master this way of knitting socks I could FINALLY turn those skeins of Vesper Sock yarn in my stash into some kickin' socks!
I'm still listening to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and have discovered yet another use for the book on tape/cd. I download a disc or two onto the iPod and I can listen while I work out! It really helps the time go by. And I've never been good at getting a book to stay put on those elliptical machines...
